Bird watching on the Harlem Meer
Nature Journaling in Central Park
Join Me for a Bird Walk in Central Park!!
If you would like to make a monetary contribution once you sign up, you can make a donation directly to the Wild Bird Fund, supporting the rescue and rehabilitation of NYC’s wild birds.
I’ve been helping lead bird walks in Central Park for a few years, and I’m thrilled to launch my own guided walks. Whether you come on your own, with a friend, a date, a parent, or someone you’d love to know better, I hope this experience becomes a moment of discovery.
What to Expect:
We’ll meet at an agreed-upon entrance to Central Park.
I’ll bring two pairs of binoculars and nature journaling materials (watercolor paints, paper, brushes, pencils).
Nature journaling is a great way to capture through words and illustration, what you notice and what captivates you (optional).
Most of our time will be spent in the North Woods or The Ramble, a beautiful and quiet haven for birds.
You can choose the distance you’d like to walk and how long you’d like to bird, I’m flexible!
I’m doing this purely for the love of helping others uncover their own love for the natural world. There’s something magical about pausing, just for a little while, to stand in wonder of the life around us.
Join me! Let’s lean into curiosity together.
